problem changing my email address in my profile

I no longer have an earthlink email address.  When i tried to enter my new gmail address in I got a message that someone else is already registered with that address.  I'm not sure what to do about that - especially since that's my email address!  Can I have some help on this?  My email address is kaybolin at gmail dot com.  Thanks.

That's strange. I just tried changing my email address to check this out. I used the same one I had and it went through. Maybe you should just try again.
