I HAVE BEEN DEBATING ON CHANGING GUNNER’S FLEA PREVENTATIVE. I HAVE USED FRONTLINE PLUS FOR MANY YEARS WITH SUCCESS, BUT I HAVE HEARD THIS YEAR FROM SEVERAL PEOPLE INCLUDING VET’S THAT IT IS NO LONGER WORKING AS IT USED TO. I AM CONSIDERING USING COMFORTIS. I AM TORN BECAUSE I HEAR MOSTLY SUCCESS STORIES & LOTS OF "NOTHING WORKS BETTER", HOWEVER I HAVE ALSO READ WHERE IT HAS BEEN SERIOUSLY DAMAGING TO CERTAIN DOGS, EVEN CAUSING SEIZURES/DEATH. IT ALSO CONCERNS ME BECAUSE MY VET DOESN’T EVEN SELL IT, THEY SAY THEY SAW TOO MANY DOGS HAVE REACTIONS TO IT ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO, BUT NOTHING FATAL-THAT THEY ARE AWARE OF. COULD ANY OF YOU THAT ARE CURRENTLY USING COMFORTIS CHIME IN & GIVE ME YOUR THOUGHTS & IF IT HAS BEEN SUCCESSFUL OR NOT? THANK YOU ALL!

Is giving Comfortis for the fleas & century for the ticks too much?  We live in a high tick area, so we have to put tick preventative on as well, but don't want to over medicate.
Hmmm... we've had a fela problem this year on Frontline as well.  I think I've gotten a handle on it after giving Brinkley one of the pills that kills fleas with 24 hours (why can't I remember the name!)  But I may have to try Comfortis.
