RAINY DAY BLUES

It has been raining constantly for a day and a half. Haley is getting bored with no fetch and no laying in the yard watching everything.  He did go for a ride yesterday.
This was a hedgehog 45 minutes ago. RIP hedgehog.

What will tomorrow bring?

No, not real but Sunday, while out for a ride, I saw a dead possum in the road and thought about a photo for this discussion: http://www.doodlekisses.com/group/doodlegrooming/forum/topics/home-..., but it was raining hard and I didn't stop.

Penny can definitely identify with being bored on rainy days. We've had our share of all-day spring rains. Penny took to destroying the mail on the desk and grabbing things off of the kitchen table. Neither of which she's ever done. "Froggy" is now a 3-legged "frog"and can no longer "ribbit". He's suffering a slow, cruel demise. Our two older dogs are completely content to lay around and sleep all day but not a certain Goldendoodle. I dread rain in the future forecast.

Haley, I feel your pain.

In the summer here in Phoenix (which is secretly May through October) it is so hot that I can barely go outside at all except to go potty. 

Then Mom and Dad make me come right back in, some nonsense about burning my feet.

I have to wait until after 10 PM to go for a walk because the street and sidewalk are so hot.

I don't appreciate it!

I too can destroy a toy in short order, muhaha!

It gets hot AND humid here.  I don't like the humidity and don't play much then either but like to lay in the shade on cool grass and watch the world go by.
