Maybe the "Presidential Doodle." The story of a little doodle who hears about the president looking for the perfect dog. The story of how any little boy could grow up to be president. Timely?
.......and that any doodle could grow up to be the presidential puppy.......

*great idea Ann and great start Lynne!
Maybe work in the "Mutt like me" quote, Obama said. How SOME people don't like our doodles because they are not "purebred" , etc. Mixed breed, mixed race angle, like so many kids are today!
I like it!

A woman in our corner of the world (north of Toronto) has published the first in a series of books about bringing her doodle home. The link from the local paper is attached, my boss bought me the first book, and had her autograph it for Chapin and I !!
Thanks, I'll going to see if I can find it.I think it very nice that you have an autograph copy!

I just had a book published about a poodle being the 'top dog' until the little girl in the story brings home a labradoodle. It's called "Poodle and Doodle." I have a blog called "Oodles of Fun" with pictures and coloring pages and more info.

Within moments of joining this board, someone ordered the book. Yay! I've had a ball adding stuff to the blog. Hope you enjoy the blog if you visit!

WOW! This is such a great idea. I teach second grade and part of our curriculum in writing is called "writers' workshop" ~ during this time, the children are to write about their own little moments in their life. I have started little mini stories about Tori. They love hearing about her. I also just ordered a book from scholastic books called, Move Over, Rover... looks like a doodle on the cover????
My son is in second grade. I will have to look for Move Over Rover on his next Scholastic Book Order.
Sorry - I didn't know the cover pic would come out that large.
