Who has really small Goldendoodles?  Scout is almost 6 months old and weighs a little over 6 pounds.  Her mom is a F2 Goldendoodle and weighs around 18 pounds.  Her dad is a teacup poodle and weighs around 3 to 5 pounds.  Just wondering how much bigger Scout might get.

Wow! That's a really small golden doodle! I thought Katie was pretty small, but she would look like a giant next to Scout. I don't know if it helps, but Katie was 20.4 pounds when she was 6 months. Now she's 9 months and I just weighed her and she's 24.0 pounds. Her mom is a standard f1 and her dad is a toy poodle. The breeder originally thought they would be 35 - 45 pounds, but I don't think we're going to make it! I think some of her brothers probably will. She was the 3rd smallest of 8, and some of those boys were significantly larger when they were 8 weeks.

Annabelle is a mini, but not that mini. At 6 months when she was spayed she weighed 11lbs. She has gained a couple of pounds since then and tops out at 13lbs. She is 9 months old now and would be surprised if she gains anymore. We just had her shaved down because of the matting she had going on. She looks so skinny now. Her mom is a med golden doodle and weighs 30lbs and her dad is a mini poodle and weighs 11lbs. Her breeders guess was 20lbs. She was the smallest in her litter.

Scout is the second smallest from her litter.  We needed her to be small because we travel and she needs to fit under the airplane seat.  I'm hoping for no more than 10 pounds. So if Annabelle was 11 pounds at 6 months and has only gained a couple of more pounds, I think there is hope.  The original vet estimate was 11 pounds fully grown.  At 16 weeks the vets guess was 8 pounds.  We will see!!

Does she seem healthy? The small dogs are pretty much growing by 6 - 8 months and she is so small I would think that she is done growing.   The 'is she healthy' was that if she is, then. . .   I think she has pretty much maxed out on size.   Ned is 28 pounds and only gained a a half pound or so after he was 6 months.

I do! Ollie is 5 lbs at 5 months. His mom was a 14 lb f2 goldendoodle and dad was a 7 lb poodle. How big is Scout now? The breeder thought mine would get to 10 lbs but I don't see that happening.

I think Scout weighs about 7 or maybe 8 pounds at the most at 7 months. She has really long legs though so is probably 11 or 12 inches at her shoulders. She is still an amazing puppy!! This is her curled up on the bed next to my kindle.

She's adorable! I'm thinking 7-8 lbs is where Ollie will end up as well. How much does Scout eat a day? I always feel like mine doesn't eat that much but I guess it doesn't take much to fill up there small tummies
She hardly eats anything. She likes peanut butter in her kong though. Where did you get Ollie?
I got Ollie from a breeder in Ohio. This was her first litter of goldendoodles but she has been breeding toy poodles for years. How does Scout do alone? Ollie HATES it! We have a lot to work on. I wish I would have left him alone for short periods all along instead of him getting used to someone always being with him. Live and learn, I guess!

Scout hates being alone too!  Same problem, I took her everywhere as small puppy because I wanted her to like the car.  Now she thinks she is suppose to go everywhere.  She hates her crates but I'm not comfortable leaving her alone in the house by herself.  She weaseled her way into our bed to sleep at night and she always wants to be where we are.  Are Ollie's litter mates as small as Ollie?

Ollie had 3 sisters and last I heard they were pretty close in weight but that was over a month ago. He does sleep in his crate at night until about 5:45 and I take him out. He will go back to bed for a few hours IF I put him in the bed with me. Ollie does not take naps in his crate, that's pretty much wherever he crashes. I am always worried he's not eating enough too so I'm always adding something to his dog food trying to entice him. I am probably the poster child for what NOT to do with your new puppy! Probably about the only thing I've done right is potty training, he will ring bells to go out. Sometimes I feel like a failure reading this board! Lol
