Recent Doodle Clown Sightings!

I am not making light of the recent scary clown sightings, because I would not be happy to see Bozo standing in the woods behind our house, but after my dog's recent grooming, I am seeing two clowns everywhere I look. It's my fault, not my groomer's, because I told her I wanted their hair short. I get so tired of seeing hair in their eyes, that I told her to make it very short on top and around their faces. She did exactly what I told her to do. Be careful what you ask for especially if you don't know the first thing about dog grooming. Luckily, my biggest requirement when I take them to be groomed is that they be returned to me clean, especially Vern. I don't stress over hair styles, but I think I may butt out on our next visit and tell her to go back to doing what she has always done. Meanwhile, here are my two clowns.

I think both Vern and Fudge look fine. I like their new dos, especially the shorter beards. Much better without costumes for the most part. I do like the lion. My two got groomed Wednesday and Calla came home with a limp with no apparent cause. She's better now. And I like my groomer but I guess I'll have to check into it.

I wonder if she jumped down from a too high table. I know you hate the beards :) I miss the hair on the top of their heads. LOL

LOL...yes, this is Fudge and Vern. The good thing is they are clean and smell great.

I think clowns are creepy even without all the freaky clown sightings. But Fudge and Vern are an exception. Annabelle was groomed Thursday. But since I can't walk at the moment and am not mentally ready to hold a leash yet even if I could, daddy took her. It always takes a couple of days for me to get used to her shorter do after a groom. She did get a cute Halloween bandana.

LOL!!! Actually their new cut doesn't look that bad. It'll look better after a day or two. Vern definitely looks like a lion in that wig. Fudge needs a new wig! Haha! That blue unicorn stuff just doesn't cut it for me. :P He looks quite mad there too! Lol

Fudge has learned to squint whenever I get my camera out. She knows that way I take more pictures of her brother. She wants nothing to do with that unicorn wig, so I made her a witch. LOL
