Redness on top of eyelid

So we have noticed that our doodle has recently been having redness on top of her eye lid, like where here eyelashes are, they look very irritated. Not sure if this is a skin allergy or what, but does anyone have a recommendation for itchy skin? We are visiting the vet tonight for this bc it looks like she’s scratching at it and now there is a scab.

I think it's a good idea to have the vet take a look at this. 

It's unlikely that this is related to allergies or itchy skin. If that were the case, you'd see scratching of other body parts, along with licking and biting of the paws and legs, not just one eye. And allergies in a 9 month old puppy would be very unusual. 

I'd wait and see what the vet has to say.

Please let us know what the vet says.  It is something better diagnosed by a professional actually seeing the area.
