Romp Around the World: Share your photos and experiences here!
Many of us are attending a Romp Around the World (RAW)* event this month. For all of you who've recently been or are going to go...I thought we could all share photos in this thread for all DK members to see.
TO SHARE PHOTOS...FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS:
In order to insert photos directly into this space where you are typing so they are immediately visible to others once you post follow these steps:
1) Click on the little black camera-looking icon above this text box where you type.
2) Select "browse" and find the photo you want to share on your computer.
3) Click "add"
4) Once you've clicked add you will see a bunch of computer gobbledygook in this text box. That is the way it looks until you click "add reply" once you've finished your post.
5) You can add as many photos as you want into a reply, but PLEASE keep in mind that if you have not first resized your photos they will be SLOW to load. So if you can, please resize your photos to no bigger than 500 pixels in any direction. If you are taking images from another site then they should be okay as they are.
6) When you are finished click "add reply" and 'voila' your photo will appear.
You can ALSO insert a slide show if you make it here on Doodle Kisses using the album feature so that you don't have to insert 34 photos =) You do this by clicking on "share" in your slide show and then copying that embed code into your reply.

*For those new to the world of doodles, each year the International Doodle Owner's Group (IDOG: who is an educational resource as well as the main doodle rescue organization for the USA) has deemed April as the official Romp Around the World month. What this means is that in the month of April doodle owners (around the USA and world-wide) are encouraged to host doodle romps where they live while educating doodle owners about IDOG and if they are willing also raise funds for IDOG. RAW has been a huge success in the 3-4 years it's been going on.

You have to make an album of just the photos you want to show. And then feature the slide show of that album.

The Annapolis Area Doodles held their third annual Romp Around the World at Broadneck Park in Arnold, Maryland. It was a great day. Weather was beautiful. I believe the final count was over 40 doodles attending. Unfortunatly I only took a few photos early in the day before the majority of the crowd arrived. I'll add more to the album as soom as I get them. This is actually a monthly get together by the Annapolis folks.

What a great idea Adina. The pics are all great. What beautiful doodles we all have. I see I had better put a special color on Lucy when we go to ours or I will not be able to tell her apart from the others. Can't wait for May 2nd. Western Pa. is also holding a RAW on May 2nd. We felt that with Easter and trout season both in April we would have ours in May. Will be watching for more and more pics.

What great looking doods everyone has! Can't wait to post pictures of our Romp which will be held next weekend! I hope it's as much fun as it looks like all you are having :)

We had our Walla Walla Doodle Romp Today and it was a BLAST!!! With an even better turnout than expected.
