Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Just saw they were adopted! All of the doodles listed pull at my heart strings but the older ones/those hard to place pull extra hard. I've found as I get older, it hits a little closer to home when an older doodle(s) has to "move on down the road" so to speak.
It renews my spirit to see them not "placed" but selected. To whomever decided they were perfect new family members, I wish you joy and blessings!!

"Here, Here"...I couldn't agree more...God Bless the people who have given these two beautiful dogs a furrever home...I too wish them joy, happiness and many blessings!
I just read that IDOG has listed another pair of cuties who are looking for a new home, because their owner passed away. Maybe another wonderful family will select Maggie and Morey, and they can stay together happily just like Sadie and Shadow.
heartwarming !
Hi everyone ... I just wanted to let you know that I have passed along to the new owners how many people were grateful to them for their willingness to bring Shadow and Sadie into their family. They aren't tech savey people so I doubt that you will see them here, but I promise I will update occasionally to let everyone know how they are doing. The transition has not been without its issues, which were to be expected, but they are dead set on making it work. We will all work together to ensure that they get everything they need to be happy in their new home.
I would be surprised if there were not at least a few "bumps", but glad you will be letting them know that they have a bunch of DK'ers rooting for them! Thanks for keeping us posted.
Thank you Sheri- everything has issues these days but love will conquer all! Glad you can keep us updated!
Nothing in life that is worth anything comes without some bumps - I am learning that in so many aspects of my life lately. Doesn't it take the hard times to really, truly relish in and appreciate the good times? ::)
We have been dealing with quite a few bumps with the Chihuahua lately (snapping at baby) and after months of working with him, I am happy to report he can sit next to us while baby pets him. Huge milestones, that I am so much more grateful for than if he would have just been "perfect" from the get go. So my point is after they work through these bumps with S&S, wow life will be sweet and they will be so appreciative of the dogs and vice versa.
BEST WISHES TO THEM!
Thank you, Cyndi, for posting so that we can get information on this pair who stole our hearts. Sherri for the update and we look forward to more. With you to advise or help the new owners, I am sure they will all survive the bumps and bond into a solid family. We send our love and good wishes from California.
