Sandy is Going to Visit Us Twice this Week

First, the storm will make Tuesday and Wednesday interesting here in MA.  Then at the end of the week, provided the airlines are up and running, our doodle Sandy is coming up from NC to her new home.

UPDATE:  We made it through the "bad" Sandy okay and I spoke with the folks in NC last night and they are still planning on trying to bring our "good" Sandy up on Thursday, either by plane or car.  Still awaiting final confirmation of that as they make plans.

It's raining in Ohio? I guess that is from the front that will combine with Sandy to make our storm monumental : (

It's been raining -well this is the third day :(   Yes, that front is going to do NE Ohio in.  Sandy is supposed to push it back at us and we are to get rain for days and days and days.   6 inches tomorrow alone. 

Like the East Coast, our store shelves are emptied.  WE did go stock up, prepare an emergency crate, and essentials-can goods, sandwiches, lots of fresh water. Taking a shower and filling the bathtub with fresh water for non-food necessity.   Winds to be 60-70 all day tomorrow.

So, no we do not live near the East Coast, but we are being warned

As long as the natural gas runs I should be OK. I sure hope so cause where could I go with 2 doodles. I will fill some pots in case the generator doesn't work. Dinnertime I plan to add some Chinese food to the larder : )

Currently here outside Boston we have light rain, but no appreciable wind.  I'm sure that will change soon enough.  It's probably just as well that our doodle Sandy isn't here - looks like she has much better weather in her corner of NC.
