Help I dont know what to do??????? Bella has started scratching really bad at nite when she gets' in the bed.........She will scratch occasionaly during the day but it is getting out of control now i am giving her 25mg of benadryl once daily but tonight she will get another......Any doodle parents experience this?
If you are noticing it when she gets into bed and not during the day does anyone think it could possibly be a laundry detergent in the sheets? Hunter had several rashes when she was between 7 and 11 months old and I found that she is really sensitive to shampoos and dry skin.
Check for Poison Ivy, Oak, Sumac, etc. We thought, for over a year, that Caeleach had everything under the sun.
Finally, our vet had us check for the "Poison" plants that were getting shorn to ground level, when we mowed the lawn. They were there, we used round up Poison Oak killer and the itching stopped.
