A goldendoodle owner tragically lost her bailey suddenly.  I'm wondering if anyone knows of a breeder in the northeast - Pa / NJ area.

Thanks - Lynn

Hi Lynn,

I am so sorry about your friend and how awful she must feel losing her precious baby.  The rules on Doodle Kisses prohibit us from being able to publicly share information about a breeder, People can private message you with information.

There is a link that you will find very helpful, what to look for in a breeder.

Also, I would suggest when your friend is ready to get another dog because as you know one does not replace the other. Maybe they would want to see about rescuing a doodle. I know in NJ there are a lot of dogs listed under DRC that lost their owners and have as big as holes in their hearts for losing their family as your friend does. The information for that rescue is on the bottom of this home page.

I am sorry for your friends loss. What ever you do, don't get a dog from a puppy mill, a back yard breeder, or a store that sells puppies.

Jennifer, I think the link you provided is for the Owner Recommended breeders Group. Here's the What to Look For In a Breeder link.

Lynn, PA is full of puppy mills, including many Amish mills. It's particularly important that your friend follow the guidelines in this link when choosing a breeder.

I meant to post both links ...

Thanks!

Thanks - I will pass this along!!
