Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

Hi Doodle Lovers,

My little guy, Matticus, (45 lb. Australian Doodle) is a true ball whiz as many of our doodles are. Our Superhero Doodle leaps & bounds to catch anything (balls, frisbees, stuffed toys, treats, etc.) and amazes us with his eye- mouth coordination. Everywhere we go, people remark on his ability to catch anything thrown at any speed at any angle. We must find a class for him to express his talents - plus he is the happiest when catching anything. Dog park folks have suggested flyball or frisbee classes, although we don't know anything about these types of classes. We live in Santa Ana, CA (Orange County).

Can anyone make any suggestions? All ideas and suggestions are welcomed and appreciated. Plus, would love to hear stories about your Superhero doodles.

Gotta run . . . Matticus just dropped a ball on my lap -- "It's time to play, Mom".

Thanks all!

Doodle Mama...you might want to stop by the Southern Cal group here on Doodle Kisses and click on "Send Message to All" and ask about flyball/frisbee classes/competition there with a link to THIS very post you've written so they can respond if anyone knows about such a class. Good luck!
