After numerous vet trips it has been concluded that Ruby has a very sensitive tummy very inconsistant stool, mostly runny.  She is 15 weeks old (and apparently my 4 year old has been sneaking her potatoe chips)  Anyway we have switched to science diet but not sure it is sitting well with her either and we have told the kids absolutely no treats she cant handle anything extra in her diet.  Does anyone eelse have a doodle with a stomach that sensitive nad what kind of dog food do you use?

Has she always had issues?  Has your vet checked for giardia?

Check out the list of recommended foods in the food group.  There are a lot of great options, but Science Diet isn't one that is recommended.  http://www.doodlekisses.com/group/thefoodgroup/forum/topics/recomme...

Cubbie has a sensitive stomach and I have to be careful about what types of treats he gets and feed grain free food.

Science Diet is NOT a good food. Check out the food group.  Adding some yogurt or canned pumpkin (not the pie filling) as a topper to kibble can help firm up stools.  So many of our doodles seem to come to us with Giardia, that is seems almost commonplace.  Apparently it can be difficult to  diagnose so bringing in more than one stool sample is a good idea.

In terms of food, there's The Food Group and a list already given in Amy's reply. I know grain free is not recommended for sensitive stomach since it's "richer", but Willow did very well after we switched to grain free (Orijen puppy large breed).

Also, sweet potato, either canned or dried, worked wonders. Probiotics pills help, and so does yogurt. Good luck. A lot of puppies have sensitive stomach, but Willow grew out of it, and hope yours too soon!

I'm not sure about this.  Both of my guys have been diagnosed with IBS which means they have very sensitive stomachs, and grain free was recommended.  I actually now have them on home cooking supplemented with freeze dried raw, but grain free was the recommendation if I did not want to home cook.  I really don't think Science Diet is a good solution for you.  Please do check the food group.  This is very common, and lots of us are dealing with it and have it outlined in the food group.
