Tonik the Human faced dog.
Shih-Tzu poodle Mix (this is clearly not a good mix)
He was rescued from a kill shelter in Kentucky and is now up for adoption. Poor little thing does not look happy. You can see, he really does have a human face. He is on Petfinder apparently.

I saw that poor sad dog. When you actually think about it mixing a Lab with a Poodle seems a little strange too. My trainer once asked me about the logic behind that and I have to be honest....I had no answer for him.

poor puppy. hopefully he will find a family that isn't concerned with having the cutest dog on the block. I'm sure the right family is out there though.

According to Petfinder he needs some socialization. The good thing is he has been rescued and someone WILL take him home and love him I believe.

I have to say that photo looks "doctored", but then again, shih tzus and poodles have very different bone structure, especially in their faces, and this poor guy may have gotten the worst of both worlds.

So really not doctored....3 photos and they are all odd. I hope someone can love and care for him like he deserves...Lots of people like "ugly" dogs, remember the ugliest dog contest.

That is a face that I would never trim the hair on, the longer the better to cover it up with ! It certainly couldn't hurt. I do think the poor little thing is creepy looking.

That's exactly right, Sheila. Shih Tzus are meant to have very long facial hair anyway.

There is a shitzu in my neighborhood and he has this underbite that makes him ugly but so ugly it's kind of cute. Aw I hope Tonik finds a home. At first I thought it was a photoshopped picture and Lisa was playing a joke on us!!!

That poor little thing... He's what I call "cute ugly", where he's so ugly he's cute. I hope someone adopts him as well, he looks like a sweetie.
