While walking Bailey this morning she quickly grabbed a bite by the side of the road before I could pull her away from it.  She always wants to snack on weeds by the side of the road and I usually can stop her.  However, this morning she was lightening fast and grabbed a bite before I could react.  I looked to see what it was and she had bitten off most of one of the three leaves on a poison ivy plant.  

Called the vet and she was not there but the tech looked it up and said to watch for stomach upset.

Anyone in DK have experience with this?

Thanks, Karen!  I guess it is watch and wait now!  Sometimes I hate living in the woods! 

It's good to know. I have it growing under a tree. We cannot get rid of it without killing the tree. It's a constant battle. At least it isn't in our fenced in part where Annie plays.
