I have very little experience with bully sticks. Gave one to Haley which he was so excited about. He chewed on it a few minutes. I left the room briefly. When I came back about a 4 inch piece was gone. Will this cause a problem? Needless to say, Haley no longer has the BS.

Kramer eats them fairly quickly too. I've been hearing for years that you should take them away when they get down to the last couple of inches. Kramer has always eaten the entire bully stick with no problems. But it always makes me think, because I do know of at least one doodle that had surgery to remove a piece.
So basically I wouldn't worry too much.

Hope that Haley's fine by now.  FInn used to chew up bully sticks pretty quick with no damage.  He hasn't had any in a long time though.  Lost interest and I wasn't sad about that.

The bully sticks are completely digestible and that's why I give them to my pup.  I won't give her rawhide as I heard it can expand in their belly and can be dangerous.

Thanks everyone for your comments. As many of you said, the bully stick passed with without any problems, not even loose poop. : )
