Any suggestions will help. Yesterday Mikey was completely normal and healthy. We went to my in laws and I didn't realize that their home was no where near puppy proofed. He immediately grabbed a piece of ham and ate one bite of their dogs food but I got it off the floor very quick. Unfortunately I found him in a spare room that had just about everything under sun on the floor from rubber bands to small toys. Now, Mikey is very bad at eating things he shouldn't but at our home we keep everything away that could harm him. He has a major problem with socks. He ate 3 of my kids socks but passed them all last week. Now, I watch my kids closer and make sure all socks are accounted for. Anyway, my son took off his socks without me knowing and one came up missing. Well I already knew Mikey ate it. He was only out of my sight a minute before I realized the disaster on the floor and got him. He was fine the rest of the day. This morning he didn't want to eat at all which is not normal at all for him. I thought maybe he just got into something. I took him out and he pooped out the sock that he ate yesterday. He isn't vomiting but very lethargic. Doesn't really want to do anything. Unfortunately my car is getting fixed and I wont be able to take him to the vet until tomorrow morning. They have no poison or anything that he should have gotten. Any suggestions please

He can go places with you but you need to keep him on a leash with an adult focusing on what he is doing. If you need to leave him for a few minutes, fasten the leash to a table leg in a room that doesn't seem to have 'interesing' items to swallow.
I mean when you go out - i.e. the in-laws. Take him but keep him leashed by you. Tell them he is in training and you can't let him run free.
That's a great plan for Mikey. We did that for Skadi when she was younger...it really is a saver!
Be sure to give him the probiotic at least 2 hours after you give him the antibiotic!
Hope Mikey is feeling better fast and all this is behind you! Please keep us posted!
