Sick doodle, DC

Hi everyone

I haven't been on here much lately but today Henry, who is now 10 months, is really sick. He's been throwing up on and off all day, and can't even seem to keep water down. I made a homemade ORS and he drank a little but couldn't keep that down either. I've tried ice cubes as well but he doesn't want them. I've seen him a little sick before but he has so much energy hardly anything gets him down, but this time he's pretty out of it. I'm worried about him getting dehydrated.

We're in DC and go to a dog park a lot, curious if anyone in the area has heard of anything going around?

Have you called your vet?  I would consider getting him there..and I would be concerned about dehydration as well.  Did he eat his food today? Is he lethargic? Is it possible that he got into something at the dog park?

He ate his breakfast but has been throwing that up all day. I fed him a little pumpkin in his water, but mainly to get him to drink the water. He's lethargic. I haven't called the vet because earlier I assumed he just ate something that made him feel off, but it's only now I'm realizing that he's sick. It's 10 pm here so now the vet's closed.

I agree about calling the vet if he's not better by morning.

Our dog had the flu last week and ended up in the clinic for two days on IV meds. He only threw up a few times and was dehydrated. Please call a vet right away.

If you can't reach a vet, I'd take him to the ER.

Please get to the Vet as soon as possible. Since tomorrow is Sunday, you may want to consider looking for an ER.
