Sick girl

Hi
I'm new and my 9 year old golden doodle was just diagnosed with IMT and the vet is giving us no hope. My heart is broken.

Misty is not getting any better. She is getting worse. The new med was really taking a toll on her and the vet said to not give it to her for a couple of days. Walking up stairs is hard for her. I just can't fathom that 3 weeks ago we were playing with her favorite squeaky ball and now she doesn't want to move. My heart is broken.

So sorry Patti. Your anxiety must be very high right now. I am not familiar at all with this diagnosis so thank you for sharing this painful experience. Maybe it will help others eventually. I'm sure you'll do right by your Misty. Keep us posted.

Patti, I know how heartbreaking it is to watch your beloved doodle go downhill and my heart goes out to you. Right now we are all hoping and praying that the medication will work but if it doesn't, just know that Misty trusts you to make the right decision at the right time for her and believe me, you will know in your heart. We will all be here to support you, whatever happens. Hugs and prayers for Misty!

Today is my last day with my best friend Misty. My heart is shattered. I do not want her to suffer because I love her so much. I can't imagine myself without her. The cats lied next to her all night , it's like they knew .I will still love to be apart of Doodlekisses even though I won't have my baby girl.
