HOW DO YOU GET YOUR PHOTO INTO THE SHOW?

Good question! Spud's mom, Joanne, put together a great visual tutorial here: Slideshow HowTo

If you like visuals, use her tutorial.  Otherwise, try the instructions below...

1-- Upload your photo the main photo page.

2-- In the 'tag' section of the photo put in the tag that corresponds with the slide show theme (see list above).

It's quite easy, actually.  If you prefer to submit photos via your smart phone, be sure you put in the correct email address.  The email address should have "ning" somewhere in it.  If not, it won't make it here.

I retagged an older photo - just because it looks like the weather we are having today. and because I like it ;)  The iPad is ruining a lot of things for me lol.

I love the slide show as well and try to participate all the time. Email updates are the best since that way I don't miss anything if I skip several days on DK.

I love the slideshow as well, I think a monthly list is a good enough reminder! If you really enjoy it, you should keep track monthly of what they are.

I've always liked the slide show but don't see it that often since I use my ipad more than my computer.

While not exactly excited about the slide show I do enjoy it. I think people will respond more enthusiastically if you notify us a week in advance and then again maybe a couple of days before. Also, unless people have appropriate photos on hand, the weather I much of the country now makes outdoor photography challenging. Something like Fresh from the Groomer, might be easier than Me and My doodle etc. but give people a little time to get used to the idea of a slide show again. The site has become rather frustrating again . Replies take forever to load if they ever load at all and the issues with tablets is a big one.

sandy b did bring up a point.  Lots of us are using tablets.  I do connect via my computer at least once a week and at that time I watch the slide show.

I love the slideshows and hope to participate in many if not all of them.  Along the way i will hopefully learn to take better pic's for next year's calendars.  Thanks Adina
