So I was out walking today...

I was out walking Max today, and we came home through a high school yard that is near my house. Anyhow as we were walking through the back parking lot there was a big back truck there, and the guy had just started it. Now I am always looking for opportunities to work on Max's training, so I thought we'd wait there till the truck had pulled out. The girl waved us on and I shook my head no that it was okay and had Max sit beside me. So about two minutes later, this shady looking girl with bad teeth gets out of the truck, and comes over to me and says "95$ right?" She thought I was a drug dealer! 

Do I look like a drug dealer. :(

Rosemary I was so shocked I didn't even know what to say otherwise I would have probably made some smart remark, I just kinda looked at her and said uh...um...I think you have the wrong person and walked on lol

F usually when I walk through that school there isn't anyone there as it's later, but I guess I consider myself pretty safe. I have done martial arts for about 10 years, and I carry bear spray, I live in a small town so the most I normally worry about is meeting up with an aggressive dog. The thing is the kids were still getting out of school and stuff, so I think it was pretty safe, just weird, I probably won't go through there again.

A bazillion years ago( like 20) a girlfriend of mine and I, were walking our dogs , down to the elementary school, to meet my son. 2 guys came walking up to us and asked us if we wanted to score! Here we are the typical looking soccer moms walking our a Golden Retrievers. Except...she was the wife of a Detective in town. I, for the first time in my life, was speechless...she jumped in with Yes! But we didn't bring our purses. Do you have a pager # where we can reach you. LOL....they gave a #, which she gave to her husband. Small town druggies...but they were arrested! This, all outside a elementary school n Napa, Ca!

OMG I'm sure I wouldn't have had a quick come back either.  You should have told her you were training Max to be a narcotics dog!  Bet she was waiting for a high school student for the hand off!

I saw a doodle at petsmart today that looked almost just like Fudge he was so cute :D

Oh I should have told her that, Max would make a good sniffer dog too, he seems to have an amazing sniffer!
