So many Doodles

I have been doing a lot  of reading on doodles and did not realize there are so many hybrids. I am kind of unsure if this many is good or getting out of hand.

Patti, anyone can breed anything to a poodle (or any other breed)and then make up a name for it, but that doesn't mean that it's a good idea, lol. It also doesn't mean that all of these mixes actually exist in any numbers. There are not many people breeding most of the mixes on this list, and most of those who are are puppy mills. It looks to me like someone just sat down and made a list of every possible breed with a poodle.

Also wanted to let you know that you duplicated this discussion, which will get confusing if people respond to both. Here's a link to the other one, you can delete it as long as nobody has replied. After that, all you can do is cancel it.

I just want to read all I can about Doodles coats and coloring for when and if we are ever ready for another. when I was googling coloring this popped up. I went through every picture out of curiosity and was surprised. I believe my Misty girl was from a puppymill because someone bought her at a pet store. I loved Misty with all my heart either way.I really thought this article was not legit. I am looking to someday get another golden doodle a little different from misty, and from a breeder.
