SOPHIE WILL GET HER SURGERY!!! WE HAVE MET THE FUNDRAISING GOAL!!!

"THIS JUST IN!!! E-MAIL FROM SECOND CHANCE ANIMAL RESCUE:
WE ARE AT OUR GOAL!!! With the projected donations coming in the mail over the next few days, we know we will have met the goal!! We just updated the web site with the $2,160 total so far, and we will be updating the site as Sophie has her surgery. Thank you for networking with your people to help us reach the goal. What a great, caring group of people.
I HAVE THE CHILLS AND AM CRYING BESIDES. THANK YOU ALL SO SO MUCH!"

WOW what great news. I too am proud and honored to part of DK and the generous people here. What a wonderful gift to be given Sophie, the gift of sight. God is good! In times like these when all of us are having hard times, He works through gracious people like all of you to touch a doodle like Sophie and restore her sight. Thank you Karen for all you did too getting this message out to us so we could help. May God Bless you.

O.K. - Now I am crying!!! How could we not have helped this beautiful girl!!! Can you imagine how delightful she will be when she is able to see!! Lets now hope she gets the absolute BEST home ever and then the Christmas magic will be complete.
I echo everyone's comments about what an amazing group of people are in this group. I have to go grocery shopping now so I have to stop this blubbering - and besides Hudson keeps trying to lick my tears away and that's just making me cry more!! -
