Look who's lighting up my life, literally now, not just figuratively.

I wanted to share Sophie and Winston's Christmas presents, ...well, maybe they are more for me than them... I bought these collars and the leash at the local pet expo a while back and they arrived in the mail on Christmas Eve. I'm very happy with them and feel much better about walking them at night with these and taking them to off leash areas that aren't well lit. Can't wait to show them off at the park!

This is the company I got them from: http://niteleash.com/  I am sure they will be pleased with the free advertising.

Totally cool Sherri!  I am going to check this out.  I tend to be paranoid at night and have reflective leash and arm bands which I wear.  It gets dark so early here now.

Love them, they are awesome ! You are the cool doodle mom  and your doodles are trend setters !

Love these!

Could do with these now here, it gets dark at 4pm!!! They look great, thanks for sharing.

This is very cool!  I sent the link to my night dog-walking friends.

How cool!  I am getting these for the boys!  Thanks again DK for helping me spend money on things I don't need..LOL.

I'm pretty sad to report that after only two walks the leash only has one light left working. I also find them difficult to turn on and off. Sometimes I have to fiddle with it and press the button several times to get it to go :(

What a bummer. I have resolved to try to never buy dog things impulsively because really the basics work. I loved the look of those collars though. But then I reminded myself I almost never walk the dogs in the dark, they just go out in the yard. I rarely go after them. Light colored doodles fortunately do stand out in the landscape if you're looking for them. But usually they just come home by themselves. So I resisted the impulse.

Here is the amazon link to the nite collars and leashes in case anyone is still interested. http://www.amazon.ca/gp/search/ref=sr_hi_1?me=A2FMS5TNIKRKDD&ie...

My yellow leash is faulty and doesn't light up anymore so I emailed them and they are replacing it with a different one. they were having problems with the original series leashes so they are replacing everyone's with with the swiveler series leashes. I thought that was nice. you'll notice the original series leashes aren't listed for sale anymore.
