Stairs and labradoodle puppies

Any advice about letting our new puppy go up and down stairs (6 or 7 times a day) to go outside to void...we are getting so many differnt opinions on not letting him to stairs because of hip dysplasia problems ( I know it is a big concner with labradors) Thanks, Alice

Good link Adina. We recommend no stairs to our puppy owners until 6 months, and have them on a leash then, to keep them moving slow and not bound down them with ooodles of impact.
