Our baby Sophie is super staticky how do we make it stop!! I just gave her a bath 2 days ago so I don't want to do that again and dry out her skin! Please any suggestions would be appreciated! She's shocking herself on her bed, the floor and when we pet her!

We use a humidifier and rarely get shocked by Haley.
You coUlsan use a conditioner if you don't. A dryer sheet rubbed over her might help.

GMTA- I just now saw your answer after I posted.

:)

Please don't rub a dryer sheet on your doodles or any other living thing...:(

That happened a lot when we started using the heater. Then we got a humidifier and that helped a lot. But, you can also just spritz on water or a detangler/conditioner.

I take a little bit of oil (I use Moroccan Oil that I use for my own hair) rub it between my palms and finger it through Gavin's coat and ear flaps.

What a great idea....I love Moroccan Oil for myself and it smells wonderful.

Take a fabric softener sheet and run it over her. You might want to lightly dampen the sheet.   You could put it in the dryer with a wet towel for a few moments then run it over her coat

Thanks everyone! That's exactly what happened. Normally I use conditioner but when I recently gave her a bath I was so tired from washing her I forgot the conditioner! (Took her to the park and she ran around and rolled in the mud) was an effort to get her back to white and get all the mud out of her! :) thanks!!! :)

This may sound surprising, but an old-fashioned metal clothing hanger will do the trick if you run the long bar over her coat.
