We are having a problem with pooping in the kennel. I've spoken before about this and I was hoping it would get better, it has gotten worse.  I've made her kennel as small as I can. We've cut down her food to 3 meals..about 1/3 cup each time.  She is eating IAMS puppy. She doesn't even care if she's in it.  I have to give her baths in the morning.  She usually poops around 9pm..then it happens after 3am.  THinking about changing to BLUE Dog food? Any suggestions??

I'm happy to announce the Harper had a "mess free" night in her kennel last night....only because my daughter put her kennel in her room and took her out twice in the middle of the night...guess it's my turn tonight...lol  Also switched her food.  She LOVES Blue Puppy

That is great to hear !!!

I noticed in your bio that you were getting your puppy Aug 1 so she is still a baby. I would make sure her crate is next to your bed so you hear her ask to go out at 3am. Or get a baby monitor and turn it on every night. Maybe your missing her whimpers in the night. Take her out as soon as you hear her and tell her to do her business. As she gets older she'll be able to hold it longer and longer.
How small have you made the crate? When we first got Brinkley and he was peeing in the crate people kept telling me to make it smaller. I didn't know enough to know how small was too small and he ended up with very little room to move. He ended up hating his crate-- probably due in part to my mistakes. Obviously it shouldn't be huge but my poor guy got the squeeze.
