stuff getting stuck in puppy teeth

Noah is 4 months old and he constantly has stuff stuck on his sharp baby lower canines - pieces of carpet, lint, etc. Sometimes it wraps around his tooth so that you can't even see the tooth anymore. I have to constantly check that he doesn't have stuff stuck in his teeth - I don't even know where it comes from! Does this or did this ever happen to anyone else? I welcome the day he loses his baby teeth because right now his canines are so pointy that if he's chewing on anything, it inevitably gets stuck in his teeth.
