swallowed a tampon

Our 5 yr old Lilly, got into my daughters tampons. She ripped the wrappers off and chewed the plastic applicators. There is one tampon unaccounted for, we can't find it and assume she swallowed it. We're concerned about inducing vomiting, for fear of it getting stuck in her throat. However I read online you should induce and you have up to two hours to do so. It has been 45 to an hour ago.
What to do?!

How scary, glad she was able to vomit it up successfully.

Teddy the other day chewed up a 4x6" photo I had near my desk that I printed out from my PC printer, mostly tore at it but little pieces may have been swallowed.  Last thing I need was ink poisoning after the foot scare last week !

I am so glad she was able to vomit it up.  Ned has 'eaten' diapers that were carelessly put into the wrong trash and not bagged.  Grrrr...
