Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Just the other day I was looking at a series of pictures on all the dangerous things dogs have eaten seen on xray. With Debb, Lucy, and Oscar's, post tonight~ Oscar eating a Safety Tag, this may be a horrible situation, but certainly an interesting topic
Three Rubber Balls and Two Tennis Balls
Talk about hoarding...
Maybe Blogging might be better?
This Dog Rocks!
This scares me. I want to put every toy away. I hope this pup is okay :(
.......and if you squeeze this dog's belly, it squeaks
What have your dogs eaten?

I did not read this the first time. You mean a bird was inside too!
I really feel sorry for this dog. His poor jaw. It makes me hurt just looking at this handsome lovely Lab
No wonder he went for the feeder though. He knew the bird was in there. Maybe?
My Mastiff used to raid my neighbors bird feeder. He loved the seed. He would eat it all. They were so patient with him. I had to replace a lot of bird feeders and seed
That poor dove! It looks a little haggard but hopefully it was ok.
Not to brag, but perfect JD has never eaten anything but food, thank Dog. And only once, food that wasn't given to him. But a turkey breast left unattended at nose level on the kitchen table proved too much temptation even for a perfect dog, lol.
It truly baffles me that a dog would want to eat some of these things. What would be the pleasure in eating a bunch of keys, or a fishhook????? Kyoko mentioned in Debb's discussion that one of her dogs picked up a used Brillo pad left by the garbage truck in the street today. All I can figure is that the Brillo pad must have been used to clean a broiler tray that was used for broiling steaks.
Oh I missed that and many discussions for a few weeks. Brillo Pad. I know my Labs pooped toys forever. The yard was full of crayon poop for years. Now, years later, it scares me. Ignorance is Bliss.. I suppose. Now, I think back and I am so surprised more did not happen.
Pinot is the one!! I'm always asking him " What do you have now?" Charlie was never a chewer nor random stuff eater, so this is new to me!! They each got their own pickles!!
AFAIK, my dogs only eat food or grass. They have been known as puppies to chew up various things. Now they chew sticks but spit out the pieces, chew covers off tennis balls but spit out he pieces and that sort of thing. So far so good. I hope this doesn't jinx me.
Chip actually survived eating a VERY long , VERY sharp toothpick, from a leftover BLT sandwich that I brought home from a restaurant. He threw up the entire INTACT toothpick! Never had a single problem from it.
oww
There was a period of time Libby ate anything that wasn't tied down:) Mostly over it now, but still loves handkerchiefs, socks and pencisl:( So far the socks we catch before they go down, the handkerchiefs come back up about 24 hrs later (4 so far) and the pencils go to pieces, but we do get them, well most of the pieces from her! That's our girl. Joanne, those x-rays made me quiver to look at! Wow!
I once spilled a liquid bottle of cherry-flavored codeine on the counter which I cleaned up with a paper towel. Two minutes later I rushed into the kitchen as my Lab downed the last piece of paper. After notifying Poison Control, they had me just let him ride it out. He was high for several days. It was painful to watch him talk in his sleep. But, just like they said, he'll be over it but may not seem like the same dog for a few days.
