THE DOODLE TRAIN HAS IT'S FIRST SUCCESS!!

Hello All...I just wanted to share this with you.......A death row doodle that we found in one of our Pettfinder searches was pulled and rescued yesterday thanks to the collective efforts of The DRRC, Lynda Strommer at IDOG and Kristen Fuhrmann member of DK, The DRRC and most notably our Doodle Train!....The Doodle Train was called into action in Alabama and Kristin immediately stepped up to the plate on behalf of The Train and successfully relayed Zane from the high kill shelter to a loving foster with IDOG volunteer Susan Cooper......Thank you to Kristin, IDOG and to all who contributed to saving this boy!

Oh thank goodness! I was worried that my e-mail didn't get through to you! I'm glad he was adopted! I've noticed there are some new DK members from Kansas...maybe we can convince them to join the doodle train? :-) It's a big state...

Is there a way someone can sign up to help rescue for a certain area especially if it meant pulling from the shelter? I would be willing to possibly.
