The HDA TROPHY IS IN CONNECTICUT!

This is the greatest Christmas surprise EVER!  Yes, the HDA trophy arrived at my door this week.  I'm not sure who was more excited, the Doods or me.  I opened the box (the boys helped) and the first thing we saw were the two stuffed animals....and then the trophy.  This is so much fun!  Thank you SO much, Rose, for all these wonderful surprises.  She sent the boys some salmon treats along with the stuffed "doggies".  You may remember how much Guinness LOVES salmon treats...he did eat all of the ones we got Jack Doodle for his birthday.  Now he and Murph have their very own!  I think my favorite of all the wonderful gifts is the "Jersey Girls Don't Pump Gas T Shirt".  I'm not from NJ, but I hate pumping gas.  I think it makes me "stink".  I'm pretty independent and rarely ask DH to do things for me, but pumping gas is "his job".  So, this T shirt is VERY appropriate.  Rose also sent lots of other "Jersey treasures" I love the Long Beach Island "flip flop" keychain (I live in flip flops) and the really "sparkly Jersey Girl" sticker....not sure where that's going just jet.  Rose, you're awesome.....very creative and fun gifts.  They boys spent the morning destroying the first of the dogs....boy did they love that!

I think I really, really fit the definition of a Hopeless Doodle Addict.  The Doods are such a huge part of my life, and it's so wonderful to belong to this community of special people who really do understand the relationship we have with our amazing dogs.  Sometimes I think you all must be very SICK of hearing from me.  LOL!

So I'm thankful that I have this special Doodle trophy, especially for the holidays.  I'm thankful to all of my great friends who have helped me so much over this past year and a half.  I'm especially thankful to Adina for making all of this possible.  Okay, enough "mushy stuff"...here are the pictures!

LOVE THE SHIRT!!   Here in Ohio, Girls change their own oil  ( yes, I do change my own oil) and we have to pump gas.... among other things.   I would love to have rules like NJ  :)

Rose picked some great gifts for all of you.  I LOVE the shirt!  When I was in Jersey I didn't know I wasn't allowed to pump my own gas and a man raised his voice at me.  WTD!!!  I didn't know!!!   Enjoy all your goodies!   (Ooops I'm glad I proofread this, I almost said you all look like you just got back from the saloon!!!)   : )

Thanks EVERYONE for celebrating with the boys and me and all your sweet comments!  Doodles are all so unique and special, it's wonderful to have a group like this to "share our stories".  Isn't it amazing how different we all are, but how our "Doodle Love" has brought us together as the best of friends.  We don't always agree, but we are always learning and there's a sense of "family" here.  I LOVE DOODLE KISSES!
