THE HOPELESS DOODLE ADDICT TROPHY ARRIVED IN LAS VEGAS!!!!

I am next in line for the Hopelss Doodle Addict Trophy and it arrived here in las Vegas in high style :)  I am honored to house this showcase of all the time spent with all of you on DK.....  Poor Buddy just sighs and collapses on the other end of the couch when the Netbook appears in the evening.  Kona will drape herself across my knees to see "what is sooooo interesting MOM!".

 

Karen sent along with the trophy, a heart box of chocolates made in her Hometown of Chicago, a cute Doodle magnet that she made with her own hands, and a great dog book by John O'Hurley for me to try to find time to read in between all the time on DK LOL  Just kidding, I love to read, and dogs are my favorite subject.  Thanks so much Karen!!!!

 

Here is THE trophy and what Karen sent:

Buddy and Kona sat so nicely for multiple tries at photos, as it was very dark when I tried to take the pic.  If it were not for my Buddy, I would never have found my way to my little hunk of chocolate labradoodle Kona, and then on to all of you.

 

I also want to share what a great time we had in meeting Adina, Clark and Natalie last weekend, I brought the trophy for a photo opp with our Doodlekisses creator and my fellow friend and Doodle Addict Trophy recipient Nancy(and Ned of course). Thanks to Bev for being such a wonderful hostess, and allowing us to enjoy her beautiful home and yard.

I will pass the Trophy on to the next in line hopefully this week ;)  Stay tuned..........

Congrats on the trophy and what a wonderful surprise that box full of goodies must have been. It is kind of like the frosting on the cake. Now I know there is a lot of buzz about the Oscars and the ladies are busy selecting their designers, 'glamming' up a bit, and preparing their acceptance speeches. May I ask "who" you were were wearing when you accepted your statuette and who did you thank? Are there pictures of your acceptance?

Aunt Linda, I believe I was wearing my Kohl's robe as my husband brought my statuette in from the Fed Ex delivery that evening LOL Not so sadly, there are not pictures of my "acceptance of the statuette", but having a pic with Adina definitely is a better deal for all :)

Congratulations, Gina! I'm so glad to see my first attempt at "arts & crafts" survived the journey! And it's just great that so many DK members got to celebrate this outstanding achievement with you! I love the photos!

Thanks Adina, I could say the same about little Natalie there, such a little stunner :) My two were so wiped out after the weekend, they didn't move most of Monday either!
