Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
......All the way from Ontario, Canada.....passed down from BruceGirl and Gavin!!!! Banjo sensed right away that this was no ordinary package.
and lo and behold....THIS was indeed a very special package!!! Filled with lots of wonderful goodies for Banjo and I. Inside we found yummy homemade doggie treats & recipes (Banjo LOVES the cookies!), some lovely Canadian souvenirs, 2 pins including a Red Maple leaf pin which I'll be putting on my leather motorcycle jacket AND a Maple Leaf Bandana for Banjo. BruceGirl tells me this is to be worn on July 1st which is Canada Day. I'll be sure that he's sporting it on that special day BG! Also included was a bar of wonderfully scented soap made in BG's town, a watercolor note card, the book "Inside of a Dog"...which I can't wait to read! And to Banjo's delight there was a squeaky ball AND.......TA DUM.....the CUTEST little lamb ever!!!! Some on you may remember Banjo's encounter with a real live baby lamb last February when we were walking on the beach. I have to say that he hasn't stopped playing with this little lamb since he pulled it from the box. I've NEVER seen him so enamored of ANYTHING ever! Here is Banjo in his new bandana with the new "Love of His Life" Lammi and the the prestigious Hopeless Doodle Trophy which he duly Kissed.
He did leave Lammi for just a while to admire the cool squeaky ball....
II've had some addictions over my life time....coffee, cigarettes (ugh!!! many years ago), chocolate, sun worshiping ('til I saw the recent pic of the 62 yr old truck driver!!!) and probably a few others I don't even remember (I was a child of the 60's!) but never have I been SO addicted to anything the way I'm addicted to Doodles AND Doodle Kisses! Over the past two years I've gotten to know so many wonderful, funny, thoughtful, caring, kind members here on DK. The day isn't complete if I haven't had a chance to stop in and see what's new with our human and doodle friends. Many thanks to each of you for making me llaugh (not a day goes by!), teaching me how to be a better "Doodle Mom", letting me know it really is ok to be a crazy, totally in love with my dog Doodle lady and for sharing all that you do! I wish everyone could know the joy we've known with our Doodles.
Thank you BruceGirl!!!! Stay tuned to find out who the next Hopeless Doodle Addict is!!!!

Don't get carried away. Being beamed up was an absolute proviso. Gee, I have to get a lawyer to deal with you guys.
LOL.....I think JD is available...
It's great to have an in house lawyer : )
He's been awfully busy lately. What's that say about our community??
It looks likely that we are a litigious lot of labradoodle lovers ( and goldendoodles too) : )
LOL! Good one!
JD says he is always at your service!
Thank him for me.
Looks good!
This is so cool! Yea for Canada from a girl who used to live in Buffalo, NY. A lovely picture of you and Banjo with the trophy:)
Carol I am so glad that everything arrived safe and sound. Banjo looks mighty handsome in red and white! Glad you saw fit for the pins to grace you "leathers." I had more fun getting the package together than you will know. Hopefully the brochures entice you north of the border some day! Congrats on your award and thank you for the awesome photos!
Well, thank you once again BG. I wish you could see how in love Banjo is with Lammie! I have to confess though that Lammie is missing an ear....hmmmmm.....I wonder how that could have happened??!! He sleeps with it and when he's just laying around Lammie is right there. When DH or I offer to take him out to walk or play he drops Lammie right by the door to pick up on his return. He's never attached to anything like this before....we're simply amazed! We've poured over the brochures you sent .... OMD....what a gorgeous spot you're in!!!! We're talking about making a trip (without the motorcycles) up that way in a few years. How lucky you are to live in such a beautiful spot!
