Nobody has mentioned this but is anyone else trial watchers on DK.

My husband and I have been those people that can barely tear ourselves away from the trial. Now that we are in the Jury deliberations it is winding down.

I won't say exactly how I feel about all of this but I can say my heart is broken whenever I look at that beautiful little girl and I can't imagine what that family must be going through.

Does anyone else want to weigh in?

NOT GUILTY!!!!!!!

No justice for little Caylee Marie today but maybe someday! My heart hurts.

Shadow of doubt has been cast.  That's how I see it all now.   We will never know.
I watched the closing arguments, loved the Prosecutors close (Ashton, the first day), then Biaz got up and he made me question a few things, but my resolve was that she was still guilty but did not know of what (murder, complicity, helping to hide the body) but then today's close made me much more sure that she is probably guilty....but like you said we will never really know to what extent and exactly what happened.

Now don't laugh, I only have ONE TV channel.   NBC.  Yep, just one.  So I was not able to hear/watch today's cllosing arguments, but talk radio did say EXCELLENT.

I will try to look up the arguments on the web after dinner tonight.

Joanne....Not laughing here......I have about 75 channels....you are NOT missing a thing!   There's nothing worth watching out there. (Well, except for this trial that I haven't been able to keep my eyes away from.)  It's over now and I can go back to playing with Banjo.

I had 75....or more. Poof, they are gone. Took me about a week to adjust, and that was only adjusting to the fact that I could not remote surf all night to find nothing on. I had 27 when after we got rid of DISH but Starlit chewed the remote. We keep thinking of fixing the problem.... And maybe this winter we might, but right now, we really adjusted to a new way of keeping busy. If I want anything I use online. Even 10 mins of CNN is enough. They should have all those closing arguments... Or enough of them to get the idea.
In the end, regardless of the outcome, all of them will forever be qui ty in our eyes.
Luckily they have my favorite newscasters in this area : )
OMG_I'm crying for you not laughing! LOL!
I'm embarrassed to say I spent WAY too much time watching this trial....ALL DAY yesterday in front of the TV.   I'm not into reality tv....or tv in general....but this case held my attention right to the end.  I don't know why.     My heart breaks for the family....their lives are in ruins.

Carol you sound like hubby and I....we have a DVR and recorded everything, couldn't help it. It's about right and wrong and Justice.

I find it ironic that today, the day we celebrate our independence and freedoms is the day this could (but probably won't) may end that for one particular individual.

This actually happened about 5 months after we moved from FL back to Ohio.  We lived in Orlando and I drove right through this area to go to the last job that I had there in FL.  So, needless to say I've spent way too much time watching this for the last 3 years, as well as during the trial.  I've mostly watched on WESH.com on the computer.  I was fascinated by the entire process from Jury selection through the trial.  There were lots of days I was bored and didn't watch at all.  Probably ended up watching more of the Defense than the Prosecution presentation, but did watch all the closings.  If you had asked me after the Prosecution closing I would have said Wow, I think they will come back guilty, then after the Defense closing I would have said Wow, there are a lot of holes, then after the Rebuttal, I was swayed a little again.  My gut tells me she is guilty as all get out, but the All American Guilty till PROVEN innocent side of me doesn't really think that the Prosecution got the job done!  DH and I were discussing it and I said "there is no way that I am confident enough to vote for a Dealth Penalty, and that means I have doubts"!  So, all I can say is I am seriously glad I'm not on that Jury.  If I were, I think I'd be holding out for a HUNG Jury as I really wouldn't want to be responsible for deciding her fate!  I think that the one thing during the trial that surprised me the most is that they did not find her Incompetent to stand trial.  She is one messed up young girl and all I can say about that, is that the apple does not fall far free the tree!  It is a really sad situation.  I've already signed up for a text message when it's announced the jury is coming back.  For some strange reason I really wanna see that live even though I know that it will be repeated many many times.
Tell me how, I would love to have that information about getting a text message - please!
go to CFnews13.com and there is a place where you can sign up for breaking news alerts to be sent to your cell phone (you can cancel after the trial).  If you don't normally have msgs sent to your cell phone there was a list of the major carriers and how to send to those carriers.   I'm hoping it is going to work long distance but I haven't gotten any messages yet.
