Thunder shirt recommendation

We have used our thunder shirt in the past for Yogi as we worked through his anxiety at being left alone and it helped (he is fine now)
Anyway, he does pretty well in the car, but seems to pant a lot and not settle into a position for any length of time. So last time we were out, I thought why not try the thunder shirt in the car to see if it will help with this also.
So today I had a couple errands to run, he came along in his thunder shirt.
He laid down and never panted once! Wow, this was a great discovery. I think I never thought of it before because it didn't seem like that big of an issue. But then I figured if he was panting he probably was a little stressed.
So I wanted to just recommend it to anyone who thinks this might also help their doodle.

I sort of wanted to get one for Luna for Canada Day fireworks because she shakes and won't settle all night :/  but it's only one day a year not a recurring thing...

Great to hear it worked for Yogi. I got one for our boy Gus. He hates loud noises like thunder during storms. We also live near a minor league baseballl stadium and they set off fireworks most nights. He will bark during all this, except when he has it on. Sleeps right through the noise. I never thought about using it in the car. He also seems to stress when we go out. Might try it next time we go out and see if it helps. I wonder if it will stop him from barking at other dogs when we're out?

Thanks, Leslie. I am starting to wonder if one should just keep on on hand to try when our dog(s) gets stressed, like we keep first aid items.
