Probably because Luna looks more like she's a  Golden Retriever than combo Golden/Poodle (Goldendoodle).  That's where the shedding comes in.  I had a golden and it was like tumbleweed all over the house from her shedding!  lol    She's very sweet.

Both of mine are first generation English cream Goldendoodles. They even have the same English Retriever dad, just a different poodle mom. The older one does not shed at all since he is more curly, the younger one sheds a bit since his hair is straighter. They look completely different from each other. You truly never know what you are going to get.

Skadi is an F1 English Cream Golden Doodle and does shed some...my black pants can attest to that...but in the house although it's visible because we have hard wood floors, it's nothing like when we had our Airedale and our long haired cat.  So this to me was a blessing!  After Skadi had surgery on her cruciate ligament she did shed like crazy...may have been due to the stress?  the anesthesia? I have her groomed every 8-10 weeks and comb her at least once a week.  A labor of LOVE.  Say, good luck on getting your doodle baby...they are the very very very very bestest in all the world over! HA...I love mine so much it's crazy!

Thank-you...that's funny about the polar bear because that's what we were joking about here in Michigan...it's so cold here that the polar bears were moving into our back yard!
