Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
We have an on going discussion in the photography group. Shoot the Moon. Many of these shots were taken with a telephoto lens. Not tonight. All you need is a regular camera or even your cell phone. I'll be taking the music of Nora Jones with me ( thank you Donna). Here is the music.
There are a lot of old legions about the SuperMoon: going insane, going blind.. anyway, it is powerful.
BRIAN WILLIAMS explains in this next video about the Supermoon

Try to capture Scale and join us with your pictures in the discussion.
Even if you don't feel like taking pictures, enjoy a beautiful evening outside with your dogs.
Here is how:
The moon will rise at 9:35 EST tonight. The first hour or two is the best for capturing the moon.

I don't think I will get the chance to even try to get a shot but the key is to get the moon just as it is rising, once it is higher in the sky there is nothing to give it any scale. I am currently dumping hundreds of really bad moon pics, the only good ones I have are taken before it was completely dark.
Ahhh, I love to shoot in a panic. It became cloudy here around 10:30
Oh and here is the Clock Tower in my little Town. In the background, the lights are the lake and the pontoon boats ( Laurie ) watching the moon.
The worst! I am going back tomorrow at 8:15 but I am so disappointed.
Opps, I didn't post the photo with the boats.
Joanne is this Portage Lake????
@Lisa-yes. You can see the PLX Logo of the Duck ( I hate that logo ) in the center of the clock
Lisa, did you know that when the clock strikes on the hour, and the clock tower plays "It's a Wonderful World" that the duck in the center of the clock poops! Just an FYI. Had to get poop into this discussion somewhere
It's wonderful...birds flying around at night...WTD?
it looks good joanne. you're luck you got to see it!
OK Joanne so far you do have the best one I thnk.
Ahhhhhh, thought so, I have not been on the lake since a bar hopping boat parade years ago - we were paid to be chauffeured, it was such fun!
Yes. A town known since the 1800s as a 'drink while you boat' town. At the turn of the century everyone came here to gamble and... well be immoral. The Key West of Ohio.
We've cleaned it up down here some. We even added children and schools. :)
