TOTW dry dog food.

I still feel TOTW dry food  (until this week)   I just switched to Fromm today.  

Has anyone heard of any problems with TOTW recently?

My 2 goldendoodles and my little mix dog have been getting sick on the TOTW or something else for the last 4 weeks.   I was hoping the new bags of food delivered would take care of it but it didn't.

I believe TOTW is owned by Diamond, one of the brands with the worst recall history. I don't believe it is recommended anymore. Perhaps that is the problem?

I doubt very much that it's food that is causing all three dogs to be ill for weeks. I think a vet visit is in order. 

What types of symptoms do they have?

I would say each of them have thrown up at least once a week at different times. My doodles each has had a potty accident in the house once a week now. Loose stools (but not liquid)  happen more often than not.  ( my small mix dog comes to work)   but he threw up in my bed one night.     My small mix has also almost totally stopped eating the dry food.  I thought he was being picky at first but now I don't know....  it's been going on for 4-5 weeks now....

All are acting normal.   I did start a diet of only white rice with boiled chicken and sweet potato this morning and will continue until their poops turn normal.  My Fromm will be here probably tomorrow in the mail.

My Alma has a sensitive stomach.  We tried TOTW but stopped using it years ago when I learned they used a preservative, ethoxyquin, that was unhealthy. (I think they have since stopped using it.)  We tried other foods and found Fromm's to agree with her - no more bile vomit or loose stools.  I'm hoping you rule out any illness causing your pups to get sick and that Fromm's works for you.

Mine was eating the pacific stream TOTW and about 2 weeks ago just wouldn't eat it anymore. It was very weird.

How is your pup doing now?   What are you feeding?   


I've started mine on Fromm and they seem to like it so far.   It also seems to be agreeing with their tummy's too!
