Last summer we were at an Art Fair that we go to every year.  Trixie of course got to come along.

We saw one of our favorite Artists there...He was working on a painting.  it was for a Charity event to raise money for a Dog shelter (if I recall right)

He had all the dogs finished but one...He asked if Trixie could be the last dog.  He looked her over & took several photos of her.

I forgot all about it until this morning...I found the painting  on his website:

Just wanted to update with the info I found out about the print.

"The "Welcome Home" piece was created for an independent animal rescue group in Columbia, MO called "Second Chance".  Randal Spangler donated a bunch of limited edition, matted prints to the group for an auction they were having.  Those prints were titled "Second Chance at a Forever Home."

We just ordered our print & he is going to sign it 'For Miss Trixie'
