Trouble with comments?...Respond here!

Several of you have complained in various discussions about having trouble with adding comments.

Can you each please respond here individually?

--- What browsers have you used when this problem occurred

--- Can you tell if the page had fully loaded or if it was still loading when it occurred?

Thanks!  I know there are some system problems that are getting fixed currently.  May or may not be related.

There are many problems. This page took several attempts first on my tablet with Chrome and now on my laptop with Firefox to even get here from Gmail. When it finally did load, after error messages before, it took a very long time.

The site was down altogether at least once today.

Then comments just stop accepting typing sometimes and the page jumps down. If you go back and type the whole comment, and you see it on the screen, it doesn't appear when posted. Instead the cut off version posts. But you can usually go back and edit. This happens with two different browsers. Firefox and Chrome.

I have been having problems loading pictures in discussions. A new tab opens, weird, and the loading on the original page goes on and on. This is all with Firefox. I can load pictures on my page sometimes. But yesterday I loaded several in an album, at once, twice. Each time only one picture actually loaded into the album, although the pictures showed up on the Front Page and in the general pictures under the Photo tab.

This is so frustrating. I'm sure I'm forgetting some things too. I hope you can understand my explanations. Sometimes things work so everyone may not notice but I know others have had problems too.

I notice that your pictures F. are slow to load on the page when I open a discussion you loaded a picture in.  This only is happening with you I find.

I use Firefox.  I have the jumping that F. described.  I lose the editing or reply options or the choices in icons across the top.  I lost the site for a while today.  When I tried to upload new pictures, it is really, really slow. Most of them read 'error' and I had to try again.  I have 4 more to upload but I will wait another day.

It's taking forever for anything to load, any page, and even the whole website itself. I couldn't get in at all a couple of times. When you try to respond in a discussion, it takes forever for the response to post. The whirly thing keeps going and going and the response doesn't show up for what seemes like hours. Sometimes it finally does and sometimes it doesn't. This is going on with discussions, blogs, and PMs. I'm having these problems with Explorer and Chrome both.

I use Chrome and everything is very slow and pages take a long time to open.

Problem:   The responses lag.  The lag can be hours.  I posted a comment and pictures.  I could see them  on my computer but, if I went to my husband's computer, they never showed up.   They finally showed up over an hour later but only half of it showed up on his computer.  I went to my computer again, and it was all there.  Spooky

Page Load:  If you mean did I see the little whirling loading star, no I did not.  It seem to have loaded.  After an hour, it should.

Because of the slow loading, I did clean the cache and history on both home PCs thinking it was my error. This did not correct the problem.

Toolbar: I can not use the toolbar today. I have to type the url address. It will not load DK

Loading:  ahhh.  I could take a bath and the page might load.. Might.  If not, I am just kicked off

Joanne's loading lag happens to me too, I use Explorer. 

It took me three tries to upload an event under the events section.  Took forever for the cursor to become live in all areas to enter, and kicked me off right in the middle and lost everything.

I uploaded pictures the other day and only half uploaded I got error messages on the rest, but finally got them loaded after multiple tries.

When using Firefox to add pictures the icons above the reply box are some times misssing.  I switch to IE9 and the icons are there.

And I use IE9 and it still takes a long time if ever before the icons and the rich text options show up. Often the box stays yellow and no icons appear.

Posting time for responses this am is more than a minute.
