Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Just looking for opinions on what type of coat my pup (Marley) will have as an adult. She's an f1 goldendoodle. She seems to have the open face type of look and it slowly starting to grow a bit longer. Her hair is starting to get longer and thicker. She's 4 1/2 months old right now. When she was 8 weeks old she was like a cotton fluff ball. The 3 pictures are within last couple days. I will post younger pictures. It doesn't matter to me what she turns out to look like as an adult, I'm just looking for predictions from doodle owners, this is my first goldendoodle and she's the most loving and smartest dog I've ever had!

Marley is adorable, and she doesn't have an open face; she does have the beginnings of furnishings. I don;t think she's going to be curly, but I do think she will definitely have a "doodle" look; I think she's going to have a straighter, shaggy coat like my Jack's, but thicker. Glad you're enjoying her!
PS: somehow, you duplicated this discussion. You can delete the other one as long as nobody has replied to it. I'd do that so you don;t have 2 of the same discussion going on, that could be confusing, lol. Here's the link: http://www.doodlekisses.com/forum/topics/type-of-coat-will-she-get-...
What precious pictures of your sweet Sophie, and Lucy, too, of course :o)
Thanks. Looking for these pics took me on a little walk back memory lane! This picture was so touching because I realized that for her 1st birthday she had the same big birthday cookie that she had for her last birthday and week before we lost her. :o(
The way she doesn't seem to have a lot of long hair on the nose, but long cheeks she reminds me a lot of our Rosie Girl.
Here is a picture of her at 18 weeks.

The hair on her nose is still not very long but she is as cute as a button.
