Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

Happy Sunday Doodlers!

MAKE YOUR DOODLE A FRONT PAGE STAR!
The next Thursday Theme for our front page slide show is "Multigenerational Labradoodles"
I am looking for excellent photos (please only your BEST) of your multigen labradoodle--this means a generation F3 or higher. But it will NOT include true Australian labradoodles -- we'll save that for it's own show. So please submit your favorite 1-2 excellent photos of your multigen labradoodle by using the tag line of the photo and putting in the tag: ML -- that will help me find the photos when I make the slide show. For more info on this tagging stuff...visit this link:

VISIT OUR DOODLE KISSES STORE
25% of any proceeds we make from our Cafe Press store goes toward doodle rescue (i.e. IDOG, etc).
And if you have any product suggestions or ideas, let me know!
To find our store, just click on the "DK Store" tab at the top of any DK page.

WHEN NOT TO WRITE A BLOG!
When you have a question for our members or want to start a discussion on a topic...ALWAYS put your question in our Forum (or the forum of the group it fits into). Try to avoid using the Blogs section for questions because they are less visible and blogs are set up only to allow comments...not discussion so it is difficult to use if people want to respond to other responders. Think of a blog as a 'public diary' -- GREAT for sharing a story or your thoughts when you don't need answers or discussion--also the perfect place for Off Topic (sharing totally non-doodle things). You CAN share in the main forum, but try to keep that sharing to doodle or at least dog-related topics.
Use the forum when you want dialog or ANSWERS!
(please know that this is not a big deal, nor is it a hard and fast rule...just want people to get as many answers to questions as they can and to have the most productive discussions and that happens best in the forum).

ANYBODY LOST ON DOODLE KISSES?
If you have questions about how to do things in DK or about photos or anything
that isn't terribly personal...remember we have a great FAQ/How To section on our FAQ page:
http://www.doodlekisses.com/notes/FAQ%27s -- you'll find video demonstrations and some written instructions too. Check it out!

Also our forum has a "How To" category with previously asked/answered How To questions.
To find past questions/answers, go to the main forum page and then click on the drop down menu next to the word "view" and select "categories." That will allow you to view discussions categorically. Then choose the How To category to see all the past How To questions!

Hi! How do you define a true Australian Labradoodle? Spencer's pedigree certificate shows that he is a 5th generation LD with a blood line from Rutland's (on his father's side all Australian LD) and on his mother's side 4 generations of Australian LD's. I am just not familiar with how to read all of this...it was only important to us to make sure that Spencer was a multi-generational Doodle and from a outstanding breeder...we certainly got that in Spring Creek and in working with Rochelle. Anyway, I am not sure which pictures to submit for Spencer....The one's for this week or if I should wait until the Australian Doodle slide show!
Thanks,
Carolyn and Spencer
Different people have different opinions on this. But to be safe the Australian labradoodle slide show will be for those labradoodles who ONLY have Australian labradoodles (from Tegan Park or Rutland Manor) in their lineage. So if all his parents and grandparents, etc... where ALL Australian labradoodles (with no American multigens blended in then wait for the Australian labradoodle show. If he's got American lines then go ahead and submit photos for this one =)
