update on Rusty

Good Evening all

         just an update on my boy Rusty.....he was given a few weeks on 2/7....today 3/1....(thank u Lord) he seams to be ok n in pretty good spirits,a few nites i was worried about him big time..as i work nites n if n when he does decide to leave us i want to be there with him,hold him,cry for him....he is n Haley r my best friends ever...i guess he has good days n bad like any cancer patient....he does seam to wonder around a little more till i bring him to me n we sit,i pet n talk to him.had him n Haley out on the 26th in our favorite woods n trails n to see him run n play with Haley is amazing.then on the 28th he just wasnt himself n i was worried..n think its time to call the vet to have him come to our home so we can all b together for his passing...then i come home from work n hes like a puppy...running,playing some...so now i figure when its his time i,thats when hes going..not by my hand or the vets...unless he is really in a bad way.....i dont want to see him suffer at all...n yet i dont want to take 1 second away from his life away from me n patti....so we deal with it..n smile...we play,run the woods a few times a week....n enjoy every milisecond with Rusty n Haley....many pics as well...Patti n I thank u all so very much for ur Prayers n well wishs n we know they help keep us going n Rusty as WELL.....we r family here...as we all have a common bond....our family pets who are more than just pets..they are amazing dogs...n i/we r so very lucky to have had what ever time we r given with them.....may the sun always be on your faces..n the wind at ur backs....may u love urs pets as they love u.....God Bless n pleasent dreams to u all.

Finn's head is resting on my shoulder as I'm writing this..You are so right that we are lucky to have them in our lives for the time that is given us.  I hope you have more good days to come.  That's a very touching and wonderful picture of Rusty. Thanks for the update.  The picture of Rusty is just beautiful and it looks like he's having a great time. It's wonderful that you have such a nice place for the dogs to run and enjoy themselves. Wishing you many happy days ahead and you all continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
