My Mastiff loved the vacuum. :)   I would take the extension and groom him.  A scratch that back with the vacuum.   I would also groom him at the car wash vacuums.

Spud--well he has put some holes in the hoses.  He hates the MONSTER. 

Once, when he was a puppy, he bite me in the butt when I turned it on. Yes, I did yell that time.  It hurt.

Cute!  Gavin doesn't care much about the vacuum one way or the other.  My old cat would come when I turned on the vacuum as I used the suction with the brush attachment to groom him.  He was a special guy!

I use the smaller stick vac often. Luca either moves away or sometimes thinks about attacking it, Calla is unfazed.

Ruby was terrified of the vacuum, UNTIL.... I put some treats on it after turning it off.  Ruby's mind: Anything that "grows" treats must be fantaaastico!

I think this must be what goes through Penelope's mind. Yes, that's right, Penelope the Kitty is the only one that has sort of tried to save me from the vacuum. Winnie just runs out of the room, and Sophie thinks it's a big game that is all about her. Everything is about Sophie Bear afterall.

I vacuum so much, my dogs don't mind at all, not even big ol' Chicken Doodle, Vern! Fudge, on the other hand, protects me from the shovel and rake :)
