i just wanted to share maybe others have a story like this. Since i have had Floyd its been the same morning schedule.....get the kids up and off to school. Floyd has taken to walking w me and helping me wake them. At first it was just sitting by my feet while i tried to get them up..now i think he wants to help. He gets on there beds and starts licking there faces..not in a hyper way but a nice morning slobery way. After they are up he goes w me into the kitchen and then bk down to the kids to make sure they are up. As the kids are putting on there hats and gloves Floyd jumps and looks out the window in the frnt entry way to see if the bus is coming. With one last kiss for his kids they walk out the door for school. As i pick up the kitchen from brkfst Floyd walks behind me and lets out a few small cries and and a big sigh....as to say " there gone again.....o well they'll be back later on". i think this is the cutest thing. I love how he is such a part of the family.

That is a cute story! Its amazing how these four legged creatures wriggle their way into our lives and our hearts. My doodle helps me out in the morning also. At least when I need helping out for you see I have a little boy that comes to my house in the a.m. and I take him to school with my kids. It seems that on occasion my DH has set the alarm to music instead of buzzer and heck, that doesn't wake me up!! But Lucky's bark does!! I just have to answer the door in my robe and then the mom of the little boy and I get a little chuckle to start our day and I tell Lucky what a good boy he is!!

I just love this story, it reminds me of when my daughter was home for Christmas Break and on Saturday's we would go upstairs together and wake her up he would jump on her be and slobber her with kisses love it

they sure r....around the same time in the am he wants to be let out....and in the same time hes ready to wake the kids. lets just hope he is not going to do it on the weekend when were trying to sleep in

I have a similar morning..my dogs have a routine as well - funny how they just adapt huh? It is great I think - normality helps them I think also.... just when those days arrive where we can actually SLEEP it causes a problem - LOL!!

Hey do you live at my house? LOL.......same routine as we have. I love that she gets excited to see us every moning and see the kids get on the bus out the window!!

This is adorable. I so wish I'd have had a doodle when my kids were small. They would have loved that. Oh well, maybe my grandkids will have one. Fergie is also a really big part of my family. I don't know what I did without her. I just came home from work and she was so happy. Doodles are great!!!
