Hi,

All would be interested in seeing what your current walking schedules are for your doodles.  Charlie is currently about 10 weeks old and he goes for a walk every three hours.  I am thinking of increasing the time between walks by one hour for every month he gets older.

Thoughts?  Experiences?

Are we talking about actual longer leash walks for exercise, or are we talking about walking down the block to go potty?

Talking about potty.

Sorry about that Alex!

We did not start Libby on regular walks until she was about five months old.  She has since walked everyday and her walk is a little over two miles.  She did get plenty of exercise before we started walking her in our backyard with playing fetch, running after the balls, lots of training,  playing with our grandchildren and of course the Zoomies!  She seems to be very happy with this schedule and for the most part she is a very mellow Doodle:)

It's been a long time since I had a young puppy, but if your 10 week old pup can go three hours between potty walks without an accident during the day, he's doing great.
