Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

I was just on an outing to banish the cabin fever. Drove about 20 minutes to an outdoor mall, finally found a parking space and then we walked maybe 10 minutes. Too cold, about 27 although it was minus 1 when I went to bed last night. And it was windy! But on the way home I was listening to the blues. How good. I heard Wang Dang doodle and that immediately cheered me up. And made me think of DK.

And inspired me to play more music. Sadly I hardly ever listen to music at home although I love many kinds of music. The receiver, CD and casette  player are ancient, I can hardly get the station I was playing in the car so I could use a new one. Hopefully compact and wonderful. Any recommendations?

I'm a huge fan of the Blues.  Roger and I went on our first real date to a Blue's Bar here in town because he knew it was my favorite.

Have you downloaded the free version of Pandora on your iPad?

A few months back I weaned myself from a local talk radio here in town.  It was making me really negative and cranky.

I do listen to Public Radio and support a local station yearly.

Most public stations are commercial free and typically can be found on the dial below the numbers 93.0

Think PBS and the like for TV~ same for radio

I can pick my station up on the internet or app ( many stations now have apps to download ) and can listen anywhere in the country.

91.3 The Summit

Hope you check them out

Will do.
Thanks.
Nope but I will. Just turned off a CD of Janis J. I love her but but as I told the doodles, after a while it' slime caterwauling.

Okay, F, this is for you. The 1967 Monterrey Pop performance that started it all. Jaw dropping:

I was there :)

OMD, can I have your autograph?

LOL!  I was a teenager and also hung out at the Fillmore Auditorium where she often performed with Big Brother and the Holding Company.

I was at the Fillmore once...in 1997. My then boyfriend won the Miller Blind Date contest. Foo Fighters was the mystery band. I'd rather have seen Janis.

I haven't been there in years, but it was quite the scene in the late 1960s. We would dance to exhaustion.
