We are adding another Doodle to our family! = )

Yes..call us crazy, but we are getting a new puppy!

He is already 11 weeks old, and is gorgeous.

He is from our same breeder as we got Chloe, and the parents are the same as hers, so I guess he is Chloe's baby brother!

Our breeder called to tell me that all of this last litter had found forever homes, and then one of the families backed out, after having her hold him for an extra 2 weeks past when all the others went to their homes, and then called and said it just wasn't going to work out!! Crazy people, but at least it's better they found out what a flake she was now instead of later!

We told her before that if there was ever a puppy returned, or that couldn't find a good forever home that we would take it, so now here it is. He was actually first pick of the litter too!

So, long story short..it was just too tempting, as we had said many times that we knew we were going to want another one of these amazing dogs, we just didnt know when. = )

For almost 3 years we had been a 3 dog family anyway, until we just said goodbye to our sweet 13 yr old Lab last month, so now we will be a 3 dog family once more..for a long time to come.

We are picking up our new bundle of joy this Sunday, Aug 19th. Can't wait to share lots of pics. We are so excited for our dogs to have a new brother, now we just have to decide on his name!!! We are thinking, Finnley, or Higgins, or Hobbson, or Paxton..Royce, Henley..what do you all think? It has to be an English name, like our Bentley & Chloe.

Oh my ~ so sweet!  I can almost smell that wonderful puppy breath!  Chloe & Higgins - my favorite.  Enjoy your new little one.  I hope you will post how the process of introducing a second doodle to the family goes.  We have a deposit down on a second doodle also and I am having second thoughts still.  The puppies were born last week so I have some time to really think about this.

He's beautiful!  I Higgins from Henry Higgins of My Fair Lady?  Love that show & love the name Higgins!  You could also go with Aston as in Aston Martin.  When you mentioned Bentley and Royce, Aston came to mind.  I actually like all your names but "Just you wait 'enry 'iggins!" keeps running through my head.  If you don't use it, I'll keep it in my mental list of names I want to use some time :-)
